Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa says that the relief and rescue operations in the flood-affected areas are almost over, now it is a matter of rehabilitation which will take many years, we need the help of the entire nation for rehabilitation.

In a statement, the Army Chief appealed for help for the flood victims and said that I have been visiting the flood affected areas for a few days, yesterday I visited Othal and Bela areas of Balochistan, today I have come to Khairpur Sindh, here There has been a lot of destruction, federal, provincial governments, army, navy, air force and welfare organizations are trying to provide relief.
The army chief says that the flood has come on a large scale this year, it will take many years to restore the flood victims, we appeal to all Pakistani philanthropists to help our brothers in these difficult situations, we are trying our best. But the resources of federal and provincial governments and armed forces are limited, you guys should come forward and help the victims in whatever way you want to help.

The Army Chief says that we need the help of the entire nation for the recovery, we and our government have requested from the friendly countries, I appeal to the Pakistanis and friends living abroad on behalf of the government and the people of Pakistan, come forward and do the hard work.
Help the people in distress, I am sure as always our expatriates will not disappoint their brothers in Pakistan.
